KC Select Spirit 00/01 kicked off its inaugural season in the Spring of 2008 competing in the KC Metro League U7A Girls Division.  The team enjoyed much success in their first league season compiling a perfect  8-0 record and finishing in 1st Place!  The team followed that up in the Midwest Mothers Day Classic taking 2nd place playing up in the U8 Silver division.  Team training and philosophy places a heavy emphasis on individual skill development while introducing age appropriate tactics.  Our goal is to teach fundamentals in a fun, positive, and safe learning environment.   

The 2008-2009 season looks to be exciting as two new additional Spirit teams were formed.  KC Select Spirit USA 00/01 and KC Select Spirit Red 00/01 join the KC Select Spirit 00/01 representing KC Select in this age group.  Go Spirit!
